Well, with all the warnings about not congregating with no more than ten people at a time because of COVID–19, work from home (students also) just became a necessity instead of an option. And that may be a good thing. Bypassing the daily drudgery of the downtown commute for most city office workers is a blessing in and of itself. If you have to venture out for whatever reason, you soon realize that the cities appear as ghost towns–literally. No cars and people moving about reminds me of the 1959 movie On the Beach. Here a lone submarine’s periscope depth view in San Francisco Bay reveals nothing of life as it was before the worldwide nuclear holocaust took its toll.

Yeah, we all might be jumping to conclusions in attempting to figure out the worst case scenarios, but when you’ve come into the game totally unprepared (thanks to Mr. Trump’s initial nonchalant concernment) getting up to speed (with covid-19 tests especially) can be a very difficult task indeed. The poor doctors/nurses and first responders are placing their lives in jeopardy just because they too can’t get the proper protective equipment to administer their services without worrying about themselves. What’s the American public to do?

Our stock market has done a major nosedive and shows little signs of correcting itself in the immediate future. A worldwide recession in the making from the perfect disease storm–one with no cure–at least not a quick one. Our Federal Government has passed some immediate relief bills and purposed placing needed money into the hand of hurting closed businesses. It all sounds like the beginnings of Armageddon, but there I go again into panic mode. Sorry. But who’s to say when civilization will begin to deteriorate to the basement level and beyond that will precede Jesus’ return? Certainly not me and certainly not Thee(Jesus). Only Jehovah knows! (I never thought about it before, but the fact that only The Father(Jehovah) knows the hour of His Son’s return gives credible evidence (at least to Christians) of the distinct and separateness of the Godhead.

So Americans, if you want to huddle up for humanity, admit that man can’t sufficiently solve his own problems. He doesn’t have the knowhow. God does. Admit and submit to HIS authority and HE will heal our nation, not necessarily from the coronavirus epidemic, but from all the sin that engulfs our everyday lives. Amen?
