I’m not denying the LGBTQ+ people shouldn’t have legal protections afforded everyone else, but some of the their rights must not override and cause Christians to go against their Christian beliefs. Christians can’t sanction gay marriages. And some Christians rightly feel it is a sin to even take any part in any way in such a ceremony–like being forced to sell flowers placed in a gay marriage ceremony. Same is true for photographers and the like. For Christians, if you know it’s wrong (according to Scripture), you can’t do it with a clear conscience–because it’s sinning–period. And once you become a Christian, to continue in sin, knowingly, is to negate the Grace of God–Jesus Christ. Yes, baptism washes away sins, but only those who seek to obey HIM afterwards, throughout their lives, can expect to be resurrected after their judgement.

When faced with a cultural dilemma, Christians must (or certainly should) strive to follow what’s written in the Scriptures. For “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4
