Breonna Taylor’s face portrait was featured (for the first time instead of Oprah) as the cover shot on one Oprah’s magazines. She was the EMS worker shot and killed by police who broke down the wrong apartment door on a no-knock warrant (since outlawed) and didn’t identify themselves before doing so (so states her surviving boyfriend), Oprah’s comment on the cover, “If you turn a blind eye to racism, you become an accomplice to it.” got me to thinking how Derek Chauvin turned a blind eye to the pleads for critical air to breath from a cuffed and pinned George Floyd–to no avail. (And how Trump’s (Storm?) Troupers were commanded to turn a blind eye to the pleading shouts of the peaceful demonstrators outside his White House in order to clear the area for Trump’s hypocritical photo-op, using a church signage as an influential backdrop.

I used a common road sign for a background but superimposed it over a photo of Chauvin looking out into space as if he had no connection to his knee that was suffocating the life out of Mr. Floyd. To reinforce the moment (of racism) and Oprah’s comment, I gave Chauvin a blind looking left eye! You copy?
