Water is the new oil. You drink water for survival; you use oil to get you around–that is, if you’re still alive. Used to be we Americans were much more concerned about the price of oil than that of water. Nowadays, with global warming quickly drying up our water reservoirs, and fires out west ravishing homes along with the landscape, H2O is in short supply–critically short.

We can pray to our God for relief, but until we collectively as a nation (and the world at large) get our act together, immediately, confronting global warming, we’re apt to experience doomsday someday sooner than we certainly expected.

Funny how our need for water mirrors our need for God. You can do without almost anything to survive for a short duration of time–except water. And, you can do without God for a lifetime, but it will cost you a resurrection into Hell.
