The differences between Joe Biden and Donald Trump (almost) can’t be measured. It’s like the difference between day and night. It even surpasses just being political party different. And, as I see it, we Americans are going to reap the benefits of becoming a much better nation to ourselves and the world stage under the leadership of President Biden rather than Trump. Amen? Yes, amen.

Donald is still not licking his political wounds of election defeat. He refuses to see the handwriting on the wall of defeat (by wearing an eye patch). He didn’t wear a mask and told America wearing one was just an mere option at best. No doubt Trump is responsible for thousands of America deaths by his, basically, unconcerned Cocid-19 leadership. But he’ll never acknowledge those shortcomings. He’s too proud for that sort of humility. Yet, he has the unmitigated gall to raise a Bible in a photo-op, inferring that he’s a Bible thumper. Yeah, right. Catholic Joe Biden worships Sundays. Trump plays golf. Trump’s logo should have been MAHA–Make America Hate Again. Biden’s “America’s Back!”

Joe Biden easily comes off as a humanitarian in contrast to Trump. This man is for the American people–all of them–no matter the color of their skin, or their economic condition, race, (chosen?) gender, or religious beliefs. I’m just a little bit concerned that in trying to please most Americans, Joe might have a tendency to not stand as firm on certain issues that The Christian God would definitely want him to stand firm on (pro-life and traditional, cisgender marriage).

I suppose, politically speaking, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. You can’t have it both ways, if in your in one American political party or the other. That’s why we’re in desperate need for another political party that captures the best of our two present, dominating polities. Kind of like a checks and balances party. Probably not going to happen in my lifetime at 77. Come quickly Lord Jesus.
