Putin may be holding the US and its nuclear NATO partners hostage over the threat of a nuclear confrontation, If we, in fact, send troops and/or advance a “no-fly” zone over Ukraine. Are we ready to corner him further? Are we in a position to call his bluff (if that’s in fact the case?) I think not. In any event, the quote I recently read sums it up: “The only way to win (a nuclear war) is not to play.” To play nuclear roulette is mindless. Simply stated, if Putin resorts to a nuclear exchange (to save face), he’ll be committing suicide, not only for himself, but the Russian people at large. What goes around, comes around–like a boomerang. And this nuclear boomerang is loaded with cockroaches–apparently, the only living thing that survives a nuclear bomb.
All indications are that Putin isn’t the same person he once was just a short time ago. Or maybe that time ago was just a facade. Since Putin’s armies have stalled due to the Ukrainian resistance, he’s given orders to not only wipe out, but burn out the major cities via aerial and ground bombardment (including the use of “vacuum bombs”). Women and children and civilian buildings are no exceptions. And recently, Russian troops had a firefight in taking over control of Ukraine’s largest nuclear facility. The world was fortunate no apparent nuclear leakage was detected–as yet, that is. Targeting innocent non-combatants and striking nuclear facilities constitutes war crimes. Yeah, they’ll be held accountable, but who has the power to enforce war crimes against a country with a vast nuclear arsenal at their disposal? The sanctions against Russia are working, but not nearly fast enough to save Ukraine’s democracy. He’s dug himself a very large ego hole. And he’s sucking in all the Russians, protesting or not, into it. The TV media image of one of his tank commanders deliberately running over a manned automobile that was not in his pathway, and then having the audacity of backing over it again, underscores Putin’s absolutely, utter disregard for human life.
Putin claims he’s liberating Ukraine of it’s Neo-Nazi minded government. Ironically, Ukraine’s president, Zelensky is Jewish, and he’s lost kinfolks in villages burned to the ground by the WW11 German war machine. The Neo–Nazi tag should be more aptly placed on Putin not Zelensky. After all, it’s Putin who is seeking to gobble up Ukraine like Hitler first gobbled up Poland and then the majority of Europe.
The Russian troops may ultimately blast Ukraine to kingdom come, but let them step one foot over into a NATO nation and all hell is going to break loose. Like WWIII. And if Putin starts shootin’ again, but this time with nuclear weapons, he’s not only got to worry about retaliation from America, but about a half-dozen other nuclear equipped NATO nations joining in from all different perspectives. But mostly, “From America with love, baby.”
Hitler was furthering white supremacy with the Jews as scapegoats. Putin’s furthering his ego of greed and total control through autocracy. And there seems to be little the Russian protesters can do about it, except to get themselves arrested in mass.
The capital letter”Z” is placed on the Russian tanks. Nobody seems to know why. What exactly the Zs stand for seems to be speculative at best. Yeah, that’s a silhouette of the shepherd David (i.e., Zelensky in military green in the process of slaying the giant dragon, Putin. And mostly with America’s continued military weapons support, Zelensky’s Ukrainian defenses are maturing into an offensive!
