The extenduating circumstances of George Floyd’s death (drug ingestion, prior arrests and convictions, passing possible counterfeit money, etc., etc., etc.) are no valid excuses for a cop to knee the life out of a person, (no matter their skin color) who is obviously under (hand cuffed and prone) his control. Especially so, if the downed suspect is repeatedly pleading for enough air to breath, and bystanders are pleading with the police to discontinue the deathly knee choke.

Turns out, this is the very occurrence that Colin Kaepernick was addressing when he knelt on the football sidelines during the playing of our national anthem. By kneeing one of our own to death, you knee the life out of all of us–Americans!

Yeah, it’s true that that cop’s knee took a life, but that very knee, hopefully, will be instrumental in addressing systemic racism.
