Most of us baptized believers (full immersion)  acknowledge that God’s grace is a free gift from Himself, if you are willing to accept it. It’s not something that you can earn by your “good” works.

But, there will be a judgment. People who never believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God are already condemned. And, Christians who never adjusted their lives (in their works) that parallels Christ’s, are susceptible to the judgment of God. I wouldn’t want to rely on Christ to have to play the “mercy” card in order to keep me out of hell! Simply put, If you don’t accept Christ in the here and now, He won’t accept you into His hereafter.
