Stormy Weather

Stormy weather and/or Stormy Daniels; take your pick, or choose them both. You can’t be wrong. The stormy weather refers to Mr. Trump and his repeated firing (i.e., resignations) of his administrative personnel. If you don’t agree with Trump’s thinking, you’ll soon become history, as in, “You’re fired!” Snake bite, anyone? But that same snake came back to bite “The Donald” in the form of Stormy Daniels’ testimonials (and, apparently, from some other women, decades earlier, who unknowingly pioneered the #MeTooMovement).

Funny, how easy and assured Trump is when he gives the initial endorsement of a member of his team, only to vilify them a short time later. And he talks about loyalty. People who are loyal tell you things that you don’t necessarily want to hear. But Trump’s enormous ego demands a bunch of “yes” men (and women) surrounding him to bolster it.

Trump always seems to give a thumbs–up gesture signifying (I guess) that he’s right–right? But we Americans now know better. We’ve often have been witness to his repeated denials of statements he’s said just days before. He giveth one day and taketh away the next. Those who voted for him thought he was possibly going to install a government for and by the American people. Ya, right. Red flags of warning that storms are approaching were flying all over the Republican Convention, but, apparently, everyone there (except for the protesters) were colorblind!

Yes, that’s my favorite facial expression of the Donald Trump–the plastic look of arrogance and conceit, punctuated by a simple line representing an infrequent closed mouth. Remember, Mr. Trump, pride goes before destruction. And you seem headed for that conclusion–full steam ahead–make that astern! Observation: the more he (Trump) lies, the longer his tie becomes.

Ms. Daniels’ head likeness is depicted atop a partially painted Venus de Milo sculpture with an exaggerated Trump’s hand covering the other (unexposed) breast below–thus symbolizing Trump’s administration’s cover–up of the (alleged?) affair. The half–armed Venus seemed appropriate since Ms. Daniels is obviously at a distinct disadvantage in conveying her case compared to the power structure available to the President.

In all fairness to Mr. Trump, I admit to being in agreement to a few of his legislations. I’ll not get into those specifically. I just wish Mr. Trump gave me (and the American people) adequate reasons to think kinder and more highly of him. Still, I’m praying daily that he’ll make the right decisions for our one nation under God. Amen?
