Right now different colleges are fighting rules concerning who’s able and willing to allow football players (mostly) to be handsomely compensated for their name, image, and likeness while still in college. This maybe a good thing for a lot of ball players’ financially, struggling families. And, it has the potential of keeping the ball player in college till his class graduates with this extra money.

I certainly would have liked some extra cash while playing football for Florida back in the 60s, but I doubt very seriously any extra monies would have come my way, since I was a lowly (unskilled?) lineman (even through I became an All-American football player my senior year and was a second round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1965). By then, I didn’t need any extra supporting monies.

But the above NIL sentencing is relatively insignificant to the spiritual NIL of the Christian Godhead. Here, I have a background depiction of what astronomers are calling God’s Eye (galaxy, I suppose). This, in name, I refer to as Jehovah. Next, superimposed over His eye is His Son, Jesus Christ, the express image of God the Father. And finally, the white cross representing the Christians who walks in the likeness of their Savior, Jesus Christ.
