Giving the finger to someone, almost never has positive results. In fact, it often leads to an altercation. We can say, “ Hate not”, till we’re blue in the face, but just saying it won’t get the job done. It’s like telling your kid not to touch something for the hundred time that day. Until we realize that hate hurts (and yes, even kills) the hater even more so than the person receiving your hatred, we’re not likely to change anytime soon.
We’re all going to give an account of our behavior before our resurrection from the grave. Mine, I’m not to proud of, but the blood of Jesus cleansed me from all my unrighteousness. Now I’m planning on taking the high road to Heaven instead of the low road to Hell. Hope to see you up there (or in the new Jerusalem right here on a revamped Earth?).
