Unfortunately for our American school children, a piece (like in a gun) can’t be legislated out of the school’s building. A disgruntled student for whatever reason takes his anger out on his peers and/or school staff by getting access to a weapon and using it to do irreparable damage. In these cases it takes a piece to disrupt the peace of a learning institution.

And when the bedlam breaks out, the police and special forces rush to the scene to take down the shooter. This time it takes a piece (or more than one piece) to restore peace again. PIECE into piece is greater than piece into peace. Trouble is between the two, time allows for any number of youthful students and adults teachers to have their lives taken from them.

And America’s love for guns is apparently greater than their love for the lives school age children or they would readily agree on legislation for adequate gun control.
