Trump has pledge to “Drill, Baby, Drill” all the oil reserves he can access, regardless of their potential, negative environmental impact. And if it weren’t for certain environmental protection agencies putting their respective feet down in protest, the rice whales, in particular, would become extinct, exponentially sooner than anticipated.

We Americans have already experienced a major oil spill from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill on April 10, 2010. And it’s still impacting marine life today in some species of fish. Not mention the negative impact on tourism. Why can’t we (our present administration) learn from others’ mistakes?

You might get lower gas prices by skirting protections, but is driving you to the restaurant cheaper worth a menu that offers only a limited choice of marine life, if at all, because it’s unsafe to consume?
