I see so many scantly clad women on the internet, parading up and down various fashion runways, with next to nothing on. Of course that’s nothing new. But to affix “angelic” wings to these almost naked ladies, somehow suggest they have been sanctioned from above. This can only cause misconception.

Satan is described as an “angel of light” in scripture. Beware, he is roaming about the Earth seeking to devour whomever. Although spiritual angels sometimes take human form, rarely, if ever, is there any mention of a “female” angel in scripture. Yes, angels have male names but do not pro-create.

Dressing up your child in an appropriate female angelic costume for Halloween is vastly different from an image that can be misconstrued to connect the spiritual with the mortal in ways that certainly don’t further Christian values. In fact, doing so, promotes a sort of sexual entrapment that the Devil takes unwarranted advantage of.
