George Orwell’s 1984 dystopian book opened the eyes of mankind that “big brother” was, indiscriminately, watching everything we do. But that was then. Now, AI technology has exponentially ushered us into a new age in which we could easily loose the control of our soon to be, “smarter that us” super powerful inventions.

If this ever comes to fruition, and the possibility is positive for happening, all hell will break loose, and civilization as we presently experience it, will cease to exist.

I parallel this potential AI takeover to the 1818 Frankenstein book by Mary Shelley that depicts Dr. Frankenstein’s created monster running amuck of his creator’s infantile motherboard. But instead of just one AI invention going south, like in Frankenstein’s monster, we’ll probably have created an exponential number of them capable of doing so. Misery loves company!
