I could have named this painting “Back to You.” Jesus’ back that is. The you part is all the people named in the scriptures who have decided NOT to confess Jesus Christ and be baptised for the remission of their sins. These riot angels are the gate protectors of Heaven. They’re not keeping you out as much as you knowingly have kept yourselves out by not obeying Him.. But it was your decision, long before Christ’s final return, not to comply to Jesus’ wishes for you. Pity. This real “Pie in the sky” (Jesus) was meant to be eaten (weekly) in remembrance of Him until His final return.

Of course, His Christians are huddled to His font side as they comprise His fisherman’s catch. Yeah, Jesus netted us, but we all came willingly. Amen?
