I grew up from age ten forward in Ormond-by-the-Sea, FL. My family ran a beachside motel located there since the late fifties.

On the Ocean leg of the “Loop Road” traveling northward, there is still a WWII German submarine observation tower. Some old “cracker folks” claim that during the WWII years the locals weren’t allowed to surf with their long boards for fear of being mistaken for German subs. The possibility of getting unexpectedly shot at would, in my estimation, far outweigh the fear of shark bite.

We Christians are also observing the signs of our times, eagerly awaiting the appearance of our Savior, Jesus Christ. And when HE arrives, we won’t have to scrutinize the horizon for a small periscope because HE’LL be larger than life!

Everyone will see and bow down to Him. And those who didn’t chose to follow Him before His return, will immediately wish they had. But, of course, by that time it will be toooooooooo late.
