The great US immigrant exodus from (and within the USA) has already begun– without firing a shot. Trump’s very first day in office promise of using the our military (the Nation Guard) to remove all (or certainly most) illegal immigrants from our country has caused those who may be affected to start looking for other alternatives for safety–immediately.

Of course Trump claims the greater majority of these illegals are criminals, rapist, etc., etc., etc., but that just isn’t true. In fact, violent crime of immigrants is almost half that of our permanent citizenry.

I’m hopeful Trump’s “draining of America’s swamp” doesn’t escalate into Gestapo tactics (i.e., tank intimidation for instance). Talk about the prospect of using excessive force. This would take the cake! It would be akin to ants scurrying every which way to escape a misplaced human footstep. This anticipated abrupt weeding out of “Trump’s” unwanted immigrants seem to parallel the Gestapo’s similar weeding out of the Jews from the ghettos for the concentration camps.

Then there’s the question of where to house these poor immigrants while they are “legally” being processed for deportment. I’m thinking parallel structures to our housing of Japanese Americans during WW II in interment camps. But we’re (me and a whole bunch of others) not at war with these illegals, per se, like you seemed to be President elect Trump.

I call your attention to Leviticus 19:33-34 for how we are to treat foreigners in our land. (But I do realize how they initially got here has to be considered in showing our mercy toward them).
