Yesterday (25/October/2024) at a political interview, Trump referred to immigrants (in general) and the undocumented (more specifically) as so much “garbage”. He claimed we Americans (make that Democrats, more specifically) are letting all the unwanted of the world through our boarders.
Previously, Trump referred to immigrants as, tainters of our national blood stream, vermin, druggies, terrorists, and rapists. You name it. He referred to them as such.
I ask myself, for a man who holds up a Bible in a photo-op, (and allows himself to be haloed in advertising), where (if at all) does Trump fit in the biblical statement of love your neighbor as yourself? I guessing he’s thinking that if he doesn’t allow any immigration to exist, then he wouldn’t have to consider anyone to be a neighbor. Yeah, right. Good luck on that one, Trump.
I’ve depicted immigrants running out Donald’s nose like he’s ridding himself of so much snot. Interesting enough, the Bible speaks in many scriptures about how people are to accept and respect the displaced of any nation. And not to disparage them.
If Trump ever read the Bible (not his edition), he might sing a different tune. But then he’d have to take back nearly every negative thing he’s every said. And we all know that’s just not in his narcissistic DNA to do so. Pride comes before destruction, Trump.
