No, the word “Meat” in the title isn’t misspelled. I just took artistic license and chose Meat over Meet to convey the idea that the railroad tracks leading up to the entrance of Alsberkinal consencration camps are a conduit for the moving of prisoners (so much meat to Nazis) to be “cooked” in the Nazi crematories.
Then there’s the connection of Jesse Owens winning four gold metals in the track and field events at the German 1939 Olympics. An accomplishment that was frowned upon by Hitler because Jesse Owens was black instead of Aryan white.
If you’re going to cut from American school’s curriculum almost all the atrocities (lynching, etc., etc., etc.) perpetrated by white Americans upon blacks (CRT, Critical Race Theory), than you’re going to have to do likewise to their accomplishments. You can’t have one without the other.
In retrospect, Germany didn’t raze their concentration camps because they were an embarrassment to their countrymen. Quite the contrary. They let them stand as constant reminders of what took place right under their noses. Atrocities that were impossible to not know about simply because of the constant stench of burning bodies permeating through the towns surrounding the crematories at the concentration camps, coupled with the rising smoke pinpointing their location.
Yeah, that’s a White Supremacy hand signal (in living color) Hitler is using to pull down the shade curtain to cover over his Holocaust. And the school children depicted are not mimicking the Nazi salute. They’re raising their hands because they want to know the truth and nothing but the truth–so help them God, regardless of what our Republican governors want to filter out.
