Roe V. Wade just got canned by SCOTUS. And that happened just because the Supreme Court of the United was majorly unbalance in the conservative direction. For fifty years, abortion was legal in the US of A. Now it’s not–I think.
Wait a second, SCOTUS threw the abortion knife back to the individual states. Now each one decides weather or not they will abide by SCOTUS’ edit. And our federal government, led by abortion advocate, President Joe Biden, is seeking legislation to circumvent the overturning of Roe by making it perfectly legal for a pregnant mother from out of state to obtain an abortion in a state the allows it. Have we Americans made any significant headway towards curtailing abortions by SCOTUS’ decision? Yes and no.
I’m all for limiting abortions as much as possible, but I feel we must provide certain exceptions to no abortion exceptions of any kind whatsoever. In my minds’ eye, it doesn’t seem too difficult to determine if a mother’s and/or fetus’ health is at stake. The same goes for rape and incest victims. I feel these females should have a choice under these very trying circumstances.
But any abortions of convenience (without the above concerns) should definitely be illegal. God can’t heal our nation of whatever until we step in His moral direction
