It seems like a competitive race between Florida’s Governor DeSantis and Texas’s Governor Abbot, as to who can “ship-off” the most illegal entering migrants the fastest to the northern, sanctuary cities accepting them. Busing is the primary vehicle of deposit, followed by flying.
Of course there is conflicting positions between the laws these states pass and the Federal Government’s policies. Not to mention that the former is Republican as opposed to the latter being Democratic.
Guess whose caught in the middle? On the surface, being busses north appears to be a step in the right direction for migrants. There are welcomed getting off the busses, but are being housed in make-shift facilities, not too unlike the southern boarder towns apparently provide.
And the cities’ mayors (NY City especially) are crying out to the Federal Government for immediate funds to cover the influx of these forced, transported migrants.
All the above will be for naught, if Trump becomes the 2024 President. He’ll be busing and flying damn near everyone who didn’t get into the USA legally in the present and reachable past back to where they came from–period There goes almost all the lower paying job applicants your average Americans refuse to do (construction, agriculture, healthcare, tourist industry, etc., etc., etc.)
