The acronym RINO stands for Republicans In Name Only. It’s a very old political term taking on different meanings in different political eras. But when Donald Trump uses the term, it’s for the belittlement of Republicans who either voted to impeach him or denied his 2020 election lies–or both.

But if the whole truth were told, Trump arbitrarily broadens the usage to label anyone as a RINO that disagrees with just about anything he has to say. Which, in retrospect, encompasses just about everyone who ever has had any dealings with Trump that turned sour in a heartbeat.

I’ve got to hand it to Liz Cheney and her the rest of the January 6th Investigating Committee. They’ve doing what our American Democracy requires officials to do. Nobody should be above the law. Especially not the sitting President of the United States. He, above all others, must lead righteously–and be held duly accountable, if he chooses not to do so.

God, please help the non–RINOs to steer clear of giving Trump another opportunity to bring down our American Democracy, should he choose to run in 2024.

(I choose to replace the three white Republican logo stars with a slot machine image of three justice hammers, because, at this present moment in time, it’s a crap shoot as to whether or not Trump gets indicted–not that there isn’t more than ample evidence to do so).
