Satan (aka the Devil and/or Lucifer) has been allowed by God to roam about Earth as a roaring lion seeking to devour humans (spiritually speaking). Satan has also been likened to a slithering snake, lying to Eve in the Garden of Eden to entice her into sin. Is it any wonder with this one-two punch still alive and thriving today, who could/can resist such negative pressure placed upon their free will? Moreover, Satan’s influence, coupled with the negativity of the world and the flesh is more than enough to bring anyone to their knees. But it’s at this humble position (when we are feeling weak) that one is most likely to realize that the only hope for a solution to man’s problems lies not in the here and now, but in the here after–via Jesus Christ–ONLY!
