The Catholics bless themselves by guestering with their open hand, moving it from the forehead to over the heart and finishing over the right side of the chest. These particular locations (to them) represent The Father, Jehovah, The Son, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. All three have individual personas, but all three are also immediately joined (at the hip, so to speak). Like H20 is water, but it exists in three different forms.
In my painting, God the Father’s depiction is obscured and in black and white only, since HE sent His Son, Jesus, to Earth and not Himself. Jesus, on the other hand, is in color and rendered much more realistically, since He was born into humanity and suffered and died for our sins.
Opposite Jesus, you find The Holy Spirit rendered in somewhat of a cloud atmosphere and pixelated to some degree. We don’t actually see the Holy Spirit as much as we see the effects of His influence. Like the effects that a strong wind has on physical structures, such as trees for instants.
All three distinct personalities merge into each other giving Holy Synergy exponential power over just simply adding their personalties together.
