How do we, as a purportedly Christian nation, say “No more” to the massive influx of immigrants/refugees illegally entering the USA daily? We don’t seem to have the facilities nor the personnel to accommodate such large numbers. And our two political parties can’t come to an agreement on a firm but fair immigration policy. So the people who are most at risk for their very survival are held in limbo after their illegal entry.
America was started and built upon immigrants channeling through our proper ports of entry. When did we go so terrible wrong in changing something that worked for so long?
Now, illegal immigrants/refugees wait indefinitely for their hearings from a court system that is totally overwhelmed, and inadequate holding facilities for far too many people.
If Trump has his way, provided he runs and wins the 2024 presidency, he’ll immediately start to deport illegals. There has to be a middle of the road solution between cutting off immigration drastically and just letting the gates fly open at random.
