I’ve already expounded about the rattlesnake image in the Gadsden flag literally attempting to eat our democracy alive in the computer image titled, Bitten, But Still Tickin’. In Disgrace Day, I’ve sought a simple example to illustrate the very forceful underlying motivation that brings ordinary people to do acts that they normally wouldn’t even consider.

Continually harboring hate will literally kill you. The more you harbor, the easier it is for it to totally consume you. And once you align yourself with like minded, protesting enthusiasts, it doesn’t take much (i.e., Trump’s speech) to ignite a mob seeking to get their way regardless of who’s standing in their way (Capitol police).
No doubt the January 6th, 2021, insurrection at our nation’s Capitol building will go down in America history as one of our darkest and most disgraceful days.
