I see so many photographs (and TV videos), of celebrity women exposing as much skin as legally possible, and then having the audacity to display a religious cross somewhere in close proximity to their mostly exposed breasts.
If you’re claiming to be a Christian by wearing a cross, shouldn’t you be under Christian obligation to dress modestly and not to draw attention to yourself by exposing more flesh then is absolutely necessary?
These types of hypocritical displays are definitely a conflict of interest. As Christians we are warned to be no part of this world. Admittedly, I taken the liberty of fracturing one of Marilyn Monroe’s famous photographs to emphasis the seriousness of not combining the flesh with the spiritual.
And partially blanking out some of the breast portion isn’t going to compensate for too much exposure, especially if you’re going to still include a cross.
Disclaimer: In all fairness to Marilyn, this famous (nude) photo did not include a cross image. That was my doing to emphasis my point.
