Trump’s presently calls immigrants (mostly illegal, but not exclusively), rapist, terrorists, druggies, murders, tainters of our American blood, etc., etc., etc. But he recently billed them as Hannibal Lecters, which adds an air of cannibalism to the mix.

Ironically, Trump could and should be donning the same Lecter masks he ascribes for immigrants, since all the criminal and/or civil indictments presently weighing against him (91 and counting) easily outweigh any reasonable comparison to the immigrants’ negative narrative.

Really, the greatest caution we Americans face isn’t an overwhelming influx of amoral immigrants (don’t use a few bad apples to sun up the whole). It’s a threat to our American Democracy by electing a dictator (Trump) in the making.
