Last night (7/18/’24), Trump gave his 2024 presidential nomination acceptance speech. Basically, it’s the same bullshit he’s been pushing along since he lost the last election. But now He wants to blend and bend the US Constitution so that it allows our government to suction Christianity as the nation’s religion. That’s not adhering to the separation of church and state. You don’t bring someone (not a nation) to Christ by forcing then to do so by eliminating all other choices

Again, he referred to immigrants as mimicking Hannibal Lecters. Repeating his previous statement that they’re tainting the American blood stream. There’s still no admission by the Republicans that global warming exist or that man has caused its increase.

And, of course, gun control legislation is totally out of the question, since, as they believe, the only thing that solves a shooter is more shooters with more guns. Listen, easier gun access computes to more shooters. You can get killed quicker with a gun, but you’re still dead, if the filthy environment takes you a decade or so to do likewise.

Republicans, how can it be OK not to mess with the Second Amendment, but OK, not to separate church and state? You can’t have your cake and eat it too. You can’t have a particular governmental religion and profess as a national policy “freedom of religion.”

Make no mistake about me. I’m a Christian. More  of a Christian democrat than a Republican, except for I’m anti-abortion with all the exceptions included.
